Mission: The Stewardship Council helps the pastor guide the development of stewardship within the parish. The first duties of Council members are to educate themselves and to live as good Christian stewards. Only in this way can members intelligently advise the pastor and become credible witnesses to other parishioners. The Council will also seek ways to promote stewardship within the parish through year-round communication and special initiatives, and most importantly, by supporting the annual Stewardship Commitment Renewal.
Talent: Council members should be very active in Parish activities and/or in other Ministries and have a strong commitment to making Stewardship a way of life in our Parish. Members should have organizational skills as well as planning, implementation, creativity, and communication skills.
Time: Council typically meets once a month for approximately one and a half hours. Planning meetings are held as needed, typically two or three a year.
