New for 2018/2019 we are offering a Family PSR class. Once a month parents and their students will be invited to attend these sessions. They will run on PSR Sundays from 9:15am to 10:15am. The first 15 minutes parents will be with their students then at 9:30am students will be dismissed to their regular PSR classes. Parents then will stay and learn about some of the same topics that their students are so they can talk about it together as a family, and make it a learning experience for all. Parents will be dismissed at 10:15am and can pick up your child at the regular dismissal time. It’s a fun way for our parents to learn right along with your student. Please contact the Religious Education Office, (dre@stjosephamherst.comor (440) 988-2848 ext. 242) if you’d be interested and we will contact you as we get closer to the start of the new year.

An additional note for 2018/2019. We currently have in place an Emergency Text Notification System. To make it easier on everyone going into next year if you have provided us with your cell phone number (indicate this on the registration form), you will automatically be enrolled.

We will use this system for notifying you of closings due to weather, if there is an emergency, or reminders of when there is no class due to breaks and holidays. We hope this will make things easier for all of us going forward to notify every one of those various situations.

We look forward to continuing to be your partner in your students Faith Formation. The 2018/2019 PSR year will begin on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Have a safe and happy summer!
