Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Statue Dedication by Bishop Lennon

“May the growth of your people in holiness be the eternal joy of our shepherds”

“What a beautiful day last Sunday was.” If I heard it once, I heard it a hundred times. The conclusion of our Jubilee Year was fantastic. For well over a year and a half many folks have been working to make the year as moving and inspiring as it has been. As one of the shepherds of St. Joseph Parish, I am not able to convey with words how much joy you have brought to me as a priest.

Experiencing with the growth—above all in holiness—has been the hallmark of my twenty-five years here. Prayer, spiritual life, outreach-service, and evangelization have blossomed under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and some healthy ministries and ministers.

For all that has been accomplished and enjoyed along the way, let us give thanks. For that which, with God’s grace, we have to do, let us say yes!
